My adventure in prop designing and building began twelve years ago when I started planning the annual Halloween party/fundraiser for my local VFW. I wanted to create a festive atmosphere…a “haunt” (as we Halloween enthusiasts call it), that would truly invoke the Halloween spirit!
I had trouble, however, finding the unique props and backdrops I needed. The shops I visited, both local and online, did not have what I was looking for so I started making my own.
I have created scenes from some of the spookiest horror themes–Dead Man’s Cove; Creepy Crypts, Catacombs, & Cemeteries; Curse of the Mummy’s Tomb; Terror in the Pumpkin Patch; and Creepy Carnival.
